The Graduate School of Library and Information Science at the University of
Illinois at Urbana-Champaign invites you to "Get ready for the holidays!"
Create beautiful handcrafted gifts in the two new GSLIS Book Arts Workshops.

In the first workshop you will decorate paper using the Japanese marbling
technique known as Suminagashi. In the second workshop you will create small
collage books which you can decorate with your own materials.

Suminagashi Marbling Workshop
Date: October 30th
Time: 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Location: GSLIS building, room 131
Registration fee: $39, includes some supplies
Instructor: Melinda McIntosh
Class size: limited to 15

Collage Book 2004
Date: November 6th
Time: 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Location: GSLIS building, room 131
Registration fee: $79, includes some supplies
