A Conference Marking the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of The
Bibliographical Society of America at the Louisiana Purchase Exposition in
St. Louis on October 18, 1904.

Washington University, St. Louis
Including papers on Western printing, publishing, and book distribution,
the book culture of early St. Louis, and remarks on the history and future
of BSA occasioned by its one hundredth anniversary, and special receptions
hosted by various rare book institutions in St. Louis including a festive
river cruise along the Mississippi. A joint meeting of the Bibliographical
Society of America and the St. Louis Rare Book Librarians Group,
co-sponsored by the St. Louis Mercantile Library at The University of
Missouri - St. Louis, and Washington University Libraries Department of
Special Collections.

Manuscript Studies at Saint Louis University, Sponsored by the Vatican Film
Library and Manuscripta.

Louis Art Museum marking the opening of an exhibition of manuscripts from
The Pierpont Morgan Library entitled Painted Prayers: Medieval and
Renaissance Books of Hours.
