Call for participations in a massive postcard exhibition and call for project proposals.

Artscard is a paper-based low cost art exhibition, in which invited artists can take part by simply following the instructions and posting back the special postcard.

You can request the electronic version of postcard by email.

Use the space on the postcard as a play ground for your imagination, then mail the card back to organiusators. You are free to fill the given space with any form of expressiuon that suits you best, the more creative the better (a drawing, a painting, a photografh etc..).

This exhibition shall be held at the Sharjah Art Museum, which is one of the most prominent art museums in this part of the world. Organisators expect more than 1000 artists from around the world.

This exhibition was previously held on a smaller scale in the year 2000. It was a great success with positive responses from artists, critics and visitors.

Organisators wish to receive your cooperation in creating a better understanding among people and in bridging the cultural gap among the artists around the world.

If you have a project that you would like to see come to life, you can write to Sharjah Art Museum and share your ideas, be to a proposal to hold an exhibition, conduct workshop, to publish or translate books, on any other ideas related to art.

Your proposal vill be viewed by committee, therefore please be sure to include all the necessary information required for realizing the proposal (such as material, expected cost, proposed date...).
