[BKARTS] REMINDER: Buzz Spector at Wells College tonight

Just a friendly reminder inviting you to attend tonight's lecture at Wells
College by artist and critic Buzz Spector.

The Book in/as Landscape

8pm in the Art Exhibit Room of Macmillan Hall
The 20th Susan Garretson Swartzburg '60 Memorial Book Arts Lecture

Mr. Spector's presentation will focus on a selection of his work as well as
work in book form by a number of artists who work with metaphors of the land
or of place.

Mr. Spector's artwork has been shown in such museums and galleries such as
the Art Institute of Chicago, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the
Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, the Corcoran Gallery of Art, Washington,
DC, and the Mattress Factory, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. His work makes
frequent use of the book, both as subject and object, and is concerned with
relationships between public history, individual memory, and perception.

Reception immediately following the talk outside Art Exhibit Room.
We hope to see you there!
