[BKARTS] Book Kits available

Hello everyone,
With the coming holiday season, I though some of you may be interested in the

The studio puts out a number of bookbinding kits. They contain full and clear
instructions on how to sew and assemble the particular models. Additionally,
the signatures are cut and creased and ready for sewing. The thread, a ready
made jig for punching holes, and paper for the covers are also provided.
Up to now there are 3 models available:

1. DOS - SI - DOS: Final book size: 4 1/4" W x 4 1/4" H
The dos-si-dos is a wonderful structure that provides you with two sides to
express yourself. It is readily available whenever those ideas strike, and
great for your travels. You can also see the article on this structure in Tabellae
Ansatae Vol. 3,No. 3.

2. EXPOSED SPINE JOURNAL: size 4 1/4"W x 6 3/4" H
I have always loved to sew, and this is partly what drew me to bookbinding.
This journal allows you to show off your handiwork, seeing the beauty of the
sewn spine in contrast with the covers. The kit contains 5 pre-cut and creased
signatures, front and back decorative covers, double sided tape,pre-punched
sewing jig, thread, and instructions for sewing and assembly.

3. DAILY MINI JOURNAL: size 3"W x 2 3/4" H x 5/8"Th
The beauty of this journal is that you can take it with you at all times. It
fits in many small spaces and is readily available whenever that idea strikes.

These kits make wonderful gifts. Thank you for sharing my love of the book
and continuing on the tradition of bookbinding. Please respond off list. For
additional information please write, mgpstudio@xxxxxxx or by calling 609 799 3941.
