Kevin, Egyptian mummies were wrapped in linen cloths centuries ago and
when archeologists who washed the fabric found it to be in amazingly fine
condition. Today's linen may not be of that quality. Marjorie
Unless those were unusually active mummies, this doesn't tell us much about how
linen responds to repeated folding, which was Kevin's concern.
