There is a product called Bubble Jet, available at Arts and Crafts stores and
quilting stores that will make ink jet prints permanent on most fabrics. You
soak the fabric in the solution, wring it and dry it and after drying iron it
onto freezer paper of a size to go through your printer. There are artists I
know putting very large pieces of cotton gauze and silk through large format
inkjet printers (3' x 4'). After printing there is a rinsing solution that you
must use to make it permanent.
