[BKARTS] Scholarships to 2005 Antiquarian Book Market Seminar

In honor of Elisabeth Woodburn, the ABAA Benevolent Fund is offering two
scholarships to the 2005 Antiquarian Book Market Seminar. Competition for
the two awards of $1,000 each is open to all. To apply for a scholarship
applicants should:
1. Write a ONE PAGE letter (500 words or less) stressing desire and need. A
letter of support from an ABAA member is also welcome but not required.
2. Submit materials to ABAA, 20 West 44th St. 4th Floor, New York, NY 10036,
fax to: (212) 944-8293, or email to Susan Dixon.
3. Entries must be postmarked no later than July 1th, 2005.
Successful candidates will be notified by phone or fax and by mail and the
awards will be presented at the seminar registration on August 7th, 2005.
Please note that only registrants are eligible to apply for these
scholarships

The fee for the Antiquarian Book Market Seminar is $995.00. It includes all instructional materials, Sunday evening reception, Monday picnic, Friday luncheon, transportation to off-site sessions, and daily breaks. After June 1, 2004 the fee increases to $1,095.00.

The fee will be discounted 10% for: 1) more than one registrant from the same organization; 2) past participants to the seminar.

REGISTRATION
There are two ways to register:
1) Complete our on-line registration form and submit it together with your credit card information or your check for the $300.00 deposit by July 15th, 2005; or,
2) print-out the registration form, complete it and mail it with a $300 deposit (check payable to Book Seminars) by July 15th, 2005 to:

The deposit is refundable only if written notice is received 30 days prior to the Seminar. The balance is payable on or before August 7th, 2005. If you pay your balance during campus registration on August 7th, you may use a check, VISA or Master Card. Book Seminars reserves the right to cancel the Seminar for any reason. If the Seminar is canceled before July 15, 2005, the liability of Book Seminars and its organizers to a potential participant shall be strictly limited to the refund of deposit previously received from that participant.
