[BKARTS] Call for Entries



An exciting opportunity!

Little Work by NW Book Artists
a juried exhibition showcasing work from the NW
Chapter Members of the Guild of Bookworkers

October 20th - November 3rd, 2005
at the Multnomah County Public Library main lobby,
Portland, OR

Exhibition will coincide with the 2005 Standards of
Excellence conference and reception on Friday, October
28th.
Jurors: Barbara Tetenbaum & Rory Sparks

Criteria:
-Open to NW Chapter members of the Guild of
Bookworkers. Go to

For a membership form.
-Artists may enter up to 3 pieces.
-Work must fit and be displayed within the confines of
a 6" x 6" x 6"space. 2D and 3D work will be accepted.
-Actual work will be juried. No slides or digital
images, please.
- Work will be juried on the strength of the design
and quality of execution.
- Work will be exhibited in locked vitrines, so
consideration should
be made for how the work will be displayed under
glass.

Entry Fees:
-All fees, including return shipping, are
non-refundable and must be included with entry.
-$15 for first entry, $10 for each additional. Up to 3
entries per artist.
-Make checks payable to GBWNW
-A separate check must be mailed for new memberships.

Artwork Delivery:
-All work must be postmarked by October 1st.
-Ship work or hand deliver to:

-The artist will incur all shipping costs, round trip.
Include this with your entry fee.
-Artwork that was shipped will be returned in its
original packaging at the artist's expense.
