If you go back to the Museum Security Network/Cultural Property
Protection Network archive and read the report of the theft, you will
discover that they had one of them gain access to the special
collections room under false pretenses, let the other 3 in,  they
then assaulted the staff, grabbed handfuls of books and ran for it,
dropping some items on the way.

I gather that Transylvania University Library doesn't have a rare
books collection or some sort of special arrangments for rare volumes
- that they go out on loan like any old mass printed copies of Michel
Foucault's works?
