If you are going to Venice there are many bookbinding shops to be
found. And thats true in many cities all over Italy. But back to
Venice. There is a wonderful gallery-store run by Italian artist Livio
De Marchi, He carves in wood and makes chest of drawers, chairs and
boats made of piles of books, plus carved books in a variety of poses
that are terrific to see. Its located sort of near the Palazzo Grassi,
in a small piazza
