As part of Minnesota Center for Book Arts¹ 20th Anniversary celebration, an
open-call show will be presented in our main gallery. In addition to
completed artist books, anything book-related may be submitted. This
includes, but is not limited to: handmade paper, bindings, prints,
calligraphy, page designs, samples of marbled and other decorative papers,
paper sculptures, sculptural artists¹ books, and posters. Everything entered
will be shown. The only stipulations are that works must measure no greater
than 12² x 12² x 12² and items must be available for the run of the show
until September 17th.
Submissions may be sent to:
Minnesota Center for Book Arts
Attn: Bookish
1011 Washington Ave. South, Suite 100
Minneapolis, MN 55415
Work must be received by June 11, 2005 to be included in the show. All
submissions must include the artist¹s name, address and phone number on the
back or some portion of the work. Please indicate any special exhibition
requirements. A self-addressed stamped envelope must be included if the work
is to be returned. While staff will take excellent care of your artwork,
MCBA cannot be held responsible for damage or loss due to circumstances
beyond our control.
