Actually, in most cases the reply should be to the list. That's ultimately
why there are lists and what keeps discussions going. It's those cases
where it should be private that many are little bit challenged from
time-to-time, and I'm including myself among those.

But, please do put location and date for your events into the subject line,
and certainly in the body along with full contact information.
