Re: [BKARTS] Exhibition not to miss in New York City

My old friend, Hubertus Gojowczyk, is showing his work at Moeller Gallery,
167 E. 73rd St. He has been making books since 1968, and many are invaded
by weeds or molds, or even a red-clawed lobster; others have been more
plainly abused by the artist who shrouds them in wax, burns away words, and
carves little amphitheaatres into their pages. In destroying the books, he
speaks poetically of the life of books, in which he has been living for many
a decade. Don't miss this show!
