Alice Simpson will discuss the influences and process of her artist
books and recent sculptural works with a multimedia presentation.
A short film clip, 'One For The Books,' (1939) will be shown in which
her father, legendary 'eccentric' dancer in the 1920s and 30s slips
and slides out of a book, dressed as a Dickensian character.

Simpson will speak about two of her latest book works, 'One For The Books,'
an edition to include caricatures, text, and a DVD of the historical film clip, and
"Queen Elizabeth 1 and Sir Christopher Hatton THE DANCING CHANCELLOR."
