Re: [BKARTS] Buy this Magazine! -- "Artists' Books: Creative Production and Marketing"

Great suggestion. The magazine's website is at <http://www.craftsreport.com/current_issue/>.

Along the same lines (presumably) is a free and 40+pp long report entitled "Artists' Books: Creative Production and Marketing" by Sarah Bodman. This is British production in which 24 book artists from the UL, Irland, France, Germany, Spain, Denmark, and the USA wrote about issues they faced concerning the production and marketing of artists' book.

The report is compiled for the book artist and compared the methods used for producing and distributing work, the importance of book arts fairs, and events for building relationships with purchasers and other artists.

Also included is a list of collections, book fairs, places to see, buy and sell artists' books , reference reading, and recommended websites to help artists find out more about available opportunities, marketing ideas, and supporting networks.

The report can be downloaded at <http://www.bookarts.uwe.ac.uk/bookpub.htm>.
