[BKARTS] Minnesota Center for Book Arts Opens Two Exhibitions This Weekend

Minnesota Center for Book Arts (MCBA) is pleased to present two exhibitions
in our gallery. The Press at Colorado College: The Pressroom as Classroom
celebrates the vision of Jim Trissel and the amazing work of those
associated with the Press. This touring exhibition, curated by Betty
Bright, commemorates the Press at Colorado College¹s 20th Anniversary. The
second exhibit, To Have and To Hold: Art You Can Touch, is truly a hands-on
exhibit. Artists from around the world are represented in this
reading-table style show. Nothing is behind glass doors, locked in cases,
or placed out of reach. This is a rare opportunity to fully experience a
variety of unique artists¹ books.
Join us for an opening reception this Saturday, October 1st, from 6 to 9 pm.
A gallery talk and walk-through of The Press at Colorado College: The
Pressroom as Classroom by curator Betty Bright will be held at 7:30 pm.
Exhibits are free and open to the public, and will be on display through
November 26th.
Gallery Hours are Tuesday 10 am to 9 pm, Wednesday-Saturday 10 am to 5 pm,
Sunday and Monday we are closed. For more information, visit
www.mnbookarts.org or call 612.215.2520.
