[BKARTS] Bookmobile at Minnesota Center for Book Arts

On its journey through the United States and Canada, projet MOBILIVRE-BOOKMOBILE project will stop at Minnesota Center for Book Arts (MCBA) at Open Book to share its wide collection of book works with the Twin Cities community.  Visit this vintage Airstream trailer and see handmade books, zines, small press publications and more.  Make your own flip or pop-up book during Moving Books, a drop-in, all ages workshop.  Participate in a roundtable discussion featuring the bookmobile staff.  Their presentation, Books on the Road, will include slides, pass-around book samples and a conversation about the evolution of artists? books.  All events are free and open to the public. Sunday, October 16
Noon to 6 pm: Bookmobile open hours, Open Book parking lot
1 to 4 pm: Moving Books, an all-ages bookmaking workshop, MCBA studios

Monday, October 17
Bookmobile offsite at Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD), 2501 Stevens Ave S, Minneapolis MN  55415
12 to 1 pm: Lecture at MCAD  

Tuesday, October 18
10 am to 5 pm:  Bookmobile open hours, Open Book parking lot
7 to 9 pm: Book Arts Roundtable Presentation, Books on the Road, MCBA studios
