Re: [BKARTS] Early Suede Bindings: 1630? Possible Redating

A closer look at flyleaves compared with the printed text leaves me open to the book having been rebound after all. It is a tightback with leather following the text into full concavity when opened. A date of 1795 is on the flyleaf which may put this suede binding in the same period of the other here in the shop. (1791)
Does this seem more in keeping with your experience?
