[BKARTS] "Show" : 'Nuff

Dear James:

Sure, people can be motivated by their "Faith" to do "Art." I do so 
myself. Unfortunately, neither of these necessarily validates the 
other: for you to claim (simultaneously!) that your Faith is pure 
because of your Art, and your Art is Good because of your Faith, is a 
moral/aesthetic shell game. And to pretend that the shell-game works 
because (as you seem to believe) it's the same game played by Medieval 
monks (which it might or might not have been), is foolish, and 
dangerous, and pointless. It's like dressing up in a suit of armor to 
go fight in Iraq. Kinda like...oh, you know.
