Re: [BKARTS] Tone deaf and art blind

I said in my last message that I'm going to drop the subject, but I will respond to your question. First of all, I am not criticizing Paul's essay, but the design of his web page.

Paul spent the last few days tormenting James Pepper, a very nice man who work I -- and many others -- find charming and beautiful, falling into the category of naive art. I was disgusted by the attacks.

When I saw Paul's web page, I was shocked and angered that someone who could create something so visually ugly and technically incompetent would have the nerve to presume to judge any visual artist's work.

I rarely criticize the work of other artists, certainly not in terms as harsh as I am using here. I don't like expressing myself with such brutal contempt, but I don't like bullies. Therefore I stepped out of my urbane mask and spoke from the heart.

That's all I have to say about this.
