[BKARTS] Peachey Board Slotting Machine

I'm interested to hear feedback on Mr. Peachey's new board slotting machine (as he may be.) It looks very well designed; likely IMHO to become a fixture in institutional settings. (I've not handled the machine, but have seen his promotional DVD, also very well done.)
I'm interested in any comments on the machine as currently designed, and on the usefulness of the technique overall. It seems far preferable to hinge repairs with just japanese paper (except for the smallest of volumes), though also requires a lifting of the spine.
Are any of you doing much board slotting already?
