Re: [BKARTS] Strength of Goatskin: tearing/splitting troubles

Peter,
Age was my first thought as I've had the same experience with old skins. It was perhaps a week here in my shop, and both importer and tanner said the skin was not old. The tanner turns over stock quickly, and the importer too..... ... should even 15 years cause such a decline in tear strength?
