Re: [BKARTS] Thanks - suede cover
Bob is correct -- a similar site is www.bookfinder.com -- but neither is
very helpful with these multitudinous, undated, reprint editions of the
late 19th/early 20th century. With LUCILE, for example, bookfinder
typically reports as many as 300 copies, differentiated (at most) by the
hundred-odd publishers who issued editions (and now including several
Print-On-Demand editions -- which are typically priced highest!).
Essentially, these sites are not designed to give as much information as
you would need to decide if the record is for an item roughly similar to
the one you have in hand. Searching completed eBay auctions can
sometimes be useful as sellers typically provide one or more
photographs, and that allows some judgment concerning both edition and
condition.

Lavinia:
A good source for getting a sense of a books scarcity and dollar value
is AddAll (http://used.addall.com/ ). This site allows you to do a
combined search of quite a number of online used book services.
I hope this helps,
