[BKARTS] any opinions of new Epsons? R1800, R2400

Hi All,

I've seen past discussions on the Epson 2200 ink jet printer (which I  
have access to and have used with relative success) and others, but  
now that I'm ready to buy a large-format ink jet from Epson, it seems  
the 2000/2200 are being phased out.

The R1800 and R2400 keep coming up in searches and are at the stores  
currently. Anyone buy or use either of these? Any opinions?

They both seem fine, the latter having more capabilities for black  
and white photos. This sounds nice but I'm not sure it's worth $300  
more... My priorities are good type (realizing it's ink jet) and  
images together, and the large format.
