TomFolio is a consortium or cooperative.  The bookseller pays a  
membership, I believe, not a percentage, and they must apply, agree  
to meet a set of rules of practice, and be accepted by a committee.   
Not sure about Bookfinder, Choosebooks, and Biblio.

The big guns, Abebooks and Alibris, both charge fees all charge a  
registration fee (I think) and they also charge each bookseller a  
percentage of each sale.  I am told there is a good deal of  
resentment among sellers over the various fees.  I don't know much  
about Bibliofind, but it's part of Amazon, and they're probably not  
in it for the little guy either.

I've found things on TomFolio, Bookfinder, et. al. that Abebooks and  
Alibris and Amazon did not have.  So you have to check more than one,  
and a given dealer will sometimes charge differently, depending on  
where he's listed.
