The National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington , DC is  
opening their exhibit, The Book as Art: Twenty Years of Artists'  
Books from the NMWA, on October 27, 2006. Lectures, Gallery Talks and  
hands-on activities are planned. The museum has an extensive  
collection of artists' books and holds an annual competition. For
