[BKARTS] Another paper query, vellum like

I am looking for a paper that when put on the spine of a book would somewhat
simulate parchment or vellum, especially if I aged it a bit with wax or
light dye.

I have a client who wants a particular look, and doesn't want to pay for
vellum (I know, sigh).

I have tried lokta paper, but it's too thready.

Any ideas of what would work? She wants it molded over fake bands (again,
sigh).
