[BKARTS] APHA-NY lecture on early New Jersey printer, Thursday, May 29

The American Printing History Association (APHA), New York Chapter,
announces the following lecture:
Gordon Bond on "James Parker (1714-1770): A New Jersey Printer on the
Eve of Revolution." Free and open to the public, reception and book
signing to follow.
Thursday, May 29, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., at the Grolier Club, 47 East 60th
Street, New York, N.Y.
Gordon Bond, an amateur historian, is the author of a new book on
James Parker published by the New Jersey Heritage Press. He serves as
co-chairman of the committee working to establish the Woodbridge
Township History Museum and Vice President of Amateur Astronomers,
Inc. in Cranford, New Jersey. Gordon is currently working on a folk
grave marker survey project in New Jersey with Stephanie Hoagland.
