Re: [BKARTS] pink cover stock?? please hellp.
Have you checked French Paper? www.mrfrench.com
Most of their papers come in coverstock and they used to have a beautiful
pink parchment. Doubtful about the linen finish.
Good Luck.

Hi,
I am desperately searching for a pink-colored cover stock to
complete a handmade, small-run zine project I'm working on, and I'm
ending up having the worst time! I'm not sure how to best describe
the exact color I'm looking for: just pink, normal pink. I'm not
looking for something as dark as mauve, and I don't want anything
'neon' or 'hot' or 'electric.'
So far, I've only come up with:
1. Domtar made a very light pink cover stock called "Bermuda Pink,"
which has been discontinued.
2. Neenah made a just slightly darker paper called "Rubystone." I
think this would have been perfect for me, however it's also been
discontinued.
3. Wausau still makes a "Royal Fiber Rose," which would be about
right, however it comes with these little 'stylish' dark fiber
specks embedded in it, which isn't a texture I'd like to use here.
I'm going to be silk-screening onto the paper, so would just like a
solid, clean surface to work with, that will not distract from or
compete with the art.
Does anyone have any other recommendations? Ideally, I'd like
something about 80lbs, with a linen finish, but at this point any
nice, plain pink cover stock will do. I only need about 250
sheets. As a last ditch I've ordered several samples from
www.discountcardstock.com, but I'm not sure these papers are
exactly art/archival quality!
Thank you for any suggestions! Any help would be very appreciated.
Robbie
