PRESSING SOUTH: A Juried Exhibition of Letterpress Printing from the  
Southeastern United States

Pressing South is sponsored by the University of North Carolina  
Wilmington’s Department of Art and Art History. The exhibition venue,  
the Cultural Arts Building Art Gallery is a new, dedicated exhibition  
space with a mission to bring educational exhibits about art and  
design to the UNCW student population and general public. The gallery  
is located on UNCW’s campus in Wilmington, NC.

Eligibility: All entries must be of original design, completed after  
January 1, 2005. Work must have originated in the southeastern United  
States (Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland,  
Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia &  
West Virginia.)

Prizes: First place, $500; Second place, $300; Third place, $200

The Juror, Frank Brannon, is a graduate of the M.F.A. in the Book  
Arts Program at the University of Alabama and is the proprietor of  
SpeakEasy Press.
