Thank you all for your detail and thoughtfulness about methyl cellulose, I appreciate it. My interpretation of Frank's response is that the methyl cellulose mixed with acrylic paint could move when water is introduced, even though the acrylic paint is dry, and that it is important to use purified water in order to avoid acidity. Is that right?
