Hi Dotti,

You can also build up a round back from binders board or museum mounting
board (which is easier to sand). Starting at the flat box spine wall width,
use successively smaller widths glued up to approximate the curve you want.
Sand to final shape and line the curved side with a piece of card stock or
heavy paper.
