Subject: A death
Many of us in the book and paper conservation community are saddened by the sudden death of Captain George Cunha at his home in Lexington, Kentucky, last night. George was the founding spirit behind Northeast Document Conservation Center, and his contributions to the the development of preservation and the conservation of library and archives materials as professional specialties were of great significance. We hope to be able to provide information about the Cunha family's wishes in a day or so. George will be missed by all of us here, personally and professionally. We need your help. FAIC seeks to improve CoOL and the DistList, and increase their value to the conservation field and beyond. In an effort to do so, we have put together a short, voluntary survey of DistList subscribers and other users of the CoOL website and its various resources. Please help us develop these invaluable resources by taking a few minutes to complete the survey
