Traces the history of metallurgy in China as reflected in archaeological
finds.  Particular stress is put on alien influences on Chinese
metallurgy and their assimilation.

Gallery of Art, 1150 Independence Avenue, Washington, D.C.

Note: this lecture takes place the day before the Association of Asian
Studies Meeting in Washington.  The Galleries will be open until 6:00,
the time of the lecture.
