Pacific Silver Cloth

Judging by the answers posted to the most recent Conservation
DistList, the question about whether Pacific Silver Cloth "works"
has been answered in the affirmative.  It works as a "sulfur
scavenger".  "Pacific cloth contains finely powdered silver and
works to take up sulphur".

Next question: Assuming that the "finely powdered silver" has less
than infinite capacity to "take up sulphur", how long does Pacific
Silver Cloth "work"?  In other words, what is the capacity of x
amount (exposed area?) of Pacific Silver Cloth?  The answer of
course depends on the environment in which it has to work.  Does
anyone have experience?  Which lasts longer, the "finely powdered
silver" or the cloth substructure?
