RFP: Conservation services

Conservator for 1840 California Constitution

The California Secretary of State's Office seeks the services of a
paper conservator to perform conservation treatments necessary to
conserve the California Constitution of 1849.  Conservator will be
required to provide all equipment and materials, and must be able to
perform service on-site at the Secretary of State's Office, 1500
11th Street, Sacramento, CA.  Conservator must have experience
working with archival materials on parchment or vellum and must
adhere to the Code of Ethics and Guidelines for Practice of the
American Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works.
