The San Francisco Bay Area Art Conservation Guild will be meeting on Saturday, May 9th, 10:00am-noon, at the Sutro Egyptian Collection at San Francisco State University, Humanities Building, Room 503. Mr. Don Pierce, Project Director, FACTS Institute (Fine Arts Care & Treatment Standards Institute) will be speaking about the Institute's purposes, publications and research projects. This new non-profit organization has accomplished a lot in a few short years in educating framers and the general public. Mr. Pierce invites and welcomes input from all conservators. This meeting is free for BAACG members; non-member cost is $5.00; non-member student cost is $3.00.
