Subject: Communication of conservation information
re the search for conservation literature: I understand that the first pages of B-CIN have a little box with info on where to get copies of articles. One source that many people aren't aware of is the Smithsonian library. Call Ann Negardi at 301-238-2700, x 134. Fax 301-238-3709. BCIN gives Smithsonian shelf list numbers, but Ann is very willing to look things up and will even do online searches for you. She send out photocopies of articles to you very expeditiously--and it's free. You will finally get something direct in return for your tax money! B. We need your help. FAIC seeks to improve CoOL and the DistList, and increase their value to the conservation field and beyond. In an effort to do so, we have put together a short, voluntary survey of DistList subscribers and other users of the CoOL website and its various resources. Please help us develop these invaluable resources by taking a few minutes to complete the survey
