Subject: Deterioration rates
I'm writing one manual about libraries and archives conservation, and I need deterioration tables specifying deterioration rates for non-printed materials (i.e. CD's, photocopies, thermofax papers, audio, video, etc) to compare with other printed materials (rag-paper, mechanical pulp paper, etc). Does anyone have work on this matters? We need your help. FAIC seeks to improve CoOL and the DistList, and increase their value to the conservation field and beyond. In an effort to do so, we have put together a short, voluntary survey of DistList subscribers and other users of the CoOL website and its various resources. Please help us develop these invaluable resources by taking a few minutes to complete the survey
