Subject: Parinarium
I am working with ethnographic objects. During the last time I had special difficulties with Parinarium Laurinum, which was used as Filling material and surface coating. Does anybody knows something about this material, its preparation, its contents and possibilities of conservation? With many thanks **** Moderator's comments: BCIN shows only two refs to the Parinarium nut: Rainger, Floriani. We need your help. FAIC seeks to improve CoOL and the DistList, and increase their value to the conservation field and beyond. In an effort to do so, we have put together a short, voluntary survey of DistList subscribers and other users of the CoOL website and its various resources. Please help us develop these invaluable resources by taking a few minutes to complete the survey
