Please join the Bay Area Art Conservation Guild (BAACG) when
internationally reknown objects conservator, author and speaker, Ms.
Virginia Greene, comes to San Francisco to speak on her life in
conservation on Saturday, May 17th (9am-noon) at the Morrison
Auditorium in the California Academy of Sciences (Golden Gate Park).
Her talk will draw from her archaeological excavation experiences in
Israel, Ireland and England and her extensive museum work in the
U.S. and will illustrate how the field of conservation has evolved
and changed throughout the years. Come hear Ms. Greene's fascinating
account of studying and preserving ancient and ethnographic objects
from diverse places and times across history.

This lecture is the fourth in the "Masters in Conservation" series
sponsored by BAACG and is co-sponsored by the California Academy of
Sciences. This lecture is free for BAACG members; Non-member cost is
