Pitt Rivers Museum
Salary: UKP18,409-UKP20,755

There is an immediate short-term (3 month contract) vacancy at the
Pitt Rivers Museum <URL:> for a qualified
conservator. The Pitt Rivers collections have designated status,
are of international importance and are wide ranging in their scope;
a similarly wide range of conservation experience is therefore being
sought, with particular emphasis on archaeological and ethnographic
conservation. Interest and experience in computerisation,
environmental monitoring and disaster planning would be a
considerable advantage, as would a proven ability to meet deadlines,
flexibility and enthusiasm. A recognised conservation qualification
and full driving licence are essential.

Applications including curriculum vitae and the names and addresses
of two referees should be sent to the

    Pitt Rivers Museum
    South Parks Road, Oxford OX1 3PP

The closing date for applications is May 9, 2003.
