Sue Allen, the foremost authority on 19th-century American
bookbinding and book covers, will present a lecture at Princeton
University on Thursday, June 26, 2003, at 5:00 PM in Room 101 of the
Friend Center. The title of her illustrated talk is: "'This Most
Miserable Muslin,' or How 19th Century Book Covers Became a Great
Success." This illustrated lecture, free and open to the public,
will be followed by a reception in the Seeley G. Mudd Manuscript
Library, across the plaza from the Friend Center.

For information about the location of the Friend Center, see

Center is located at the intersection of William and Olden Streets
