Paper-Making Seminars

The University of London's Institute of English Studies, in
co-operation with The Centre for Writing, Publishing and Printing
History, Reading University, The British Association of Paper
Historians and St Bride Printing Library are presenting a series of
seminars celebrating the bicentenary of the installation of the
Fourdrinier paper-making machine, at Frogmore Mill in 1803.

    Starting with the earliest evidence of paper, some 2000 years
    ago, until the Fourdrinier Brothers install and trial their
    paper-making machine in 1803.
