Lamination

I am studying at the University of Applied Science, Cologne at the
faculty of paper- and bookconservation and I'm currently writing my
diploma about the delamination of an self-adhesive foil from a
poster from 1901. This foil is based on a PVC-film material with a
acrylic adhesive. The print colours are quite stable to water. The
foil is put on the verso so the print colours have no direct contact
to the acrylic adhesive. I am looking for any suggestions about what
kind of solvents/treatments of similar objects have been done. What
you would recommend as a treatment (heat or solvents)?
