Conservation labs in historic buildings

In trying to save a recently-closed conservation lab (and its
preservation program) that has been successfully operating in a 19th
century historic structure for the past seven years, I am trying to
put together as definitive a list as possible of conservation labs
that are similarly situated--in old or historic buildings. You can
help by contributing the names and locations of any similarly
situated conservation labs that might serve as examples of
conservation facilities that continue to operate safely and
successfully within an old or historic structure. A sentence or two
about each that you list--as well as contact information--would also
be helpful, but not essential. Please include examples that may seem
like obvious candidates to you--as well as those that maybe less
familiar. Your participation could help save a conservation program.
Please respond a.s.a.p. directly to David Arnold <dharnold<-a t->aol< . >com>
