Alexandra Greathead wrote enquiring about suppliers of polyester
film thicker than 175 micron. A few years ago we purchased some 250
micron thickness polyester from:

    Polyester Converters Ltd.
    Polymex House
    49-53 Glengall Road
    London SE15 6NF
    United Kingdom

I also looked at even thicker sheets but found that polyester film
becomes visibly milky at thicknesses greater than about 250 microns.
I doubt that 250 micron thickness polyester will be suitable for
this application as the polyester is still fairly floppy. At 250
microns the polyester would probably not provide sufficient support
within a double sided mount for anything other than very small
apertures.
