Conservation Technologies
National Conservation Centre
National Museums Liverpool

The above course will be run on the following dates in 2009:

    16-17 March, 2009
    22-23 June, 2009
    14-15 September, 2009
    23-24 November, 2009

This 2-day course provides an introduction to the use of laser
cleaning in conservation. It is aimed at conservators with no or
very little experience of this technique. Numbers are restricted to
4 per course, allowing a significant amount of practical work. By
the end of the course, the conservator will have a good
understanding of how laser cleaning works, the type of work to which
it is suited and the practical aspects of working with a laser. For
