Water damaged photographic prints

I have received an inquiry from the museum's archivist to examine
water damaged archive material. The material consists of 3 (paper)
pages and 3 photographs (BW, possibly resin-coated) all stuck
together due to past flood incident. The arrangement is
page/photo/photo/photo/page/page. Having virtually no experience in
the conservation of photographic material, I will probably forward
the objects to an external specialist. However, a quick web research
provided little in hands-on photograph conservation. I am looking
for a summary of suggested techniques in separating water damaged
photographs or a good bibliographic reference in order to have a
general idea on the subject.
